Guus Jansen founded Caneval
in December 1999 and brings over 20 years of experience
in R&D, telecom, consultancy and general management
to the company.
Prior to Caneval, Guus
Jansen was member of the Board of Directors at Telfort.
As director of Marketing and Business Development
he was in charge of strategy, business planning,
business development, product development, product management,
interconnection and market communication. He joined
Telfort at the company launch in 1996 and had a key
role in leading the company to become a full service
telecom operator with an annual revenue of € 350 mln.
in 1999 and 2000 employees.
Prior to Telfort, he was
senior management consultant at Monitor Company, a global
firm providing strategic consultancy services to the
top corporate companies, with many client engagements
in the telecom industry.
Before that he was researcher
at Shell Research Center Amsterdam and IBM General Technology
Division in New York. Guus Jansen holds a Master degree
and PhD in Physics from Delft University, both Cum Laude,
and is the author of numerous scientific and technical
papers. |
